Thomasin and Kieran's September 2023 wedding began at St James' Church in Newton, near Stocksfield, before moving on to Halton Grove near Corbridge in Northumberland. As their wedding photographer, I got to see just how much of themselves they'd put into it. There was a cake of cheese from Corbridge Larder alongside a cake by Lottie McPhee, and flowers from Flowers Unlimited. Claire Alexandra did hair and make-up, and Another Loop made the stationery. Musician Cameron Smith played, and later The Grouse Ceilidh Band got everyone on their feet. A ceilidh is a gift for a photographer, because nobody can dance one without laughing. The table name picture was made by the bride's mum, which is exactly the kind of personal touch I love finding on a wedding day. I kept things relaxed and stayed out of the way, so the couple could spend the day with their guests. If you're getting married at Halton Grove, it would be great to have a chat about your plans.
