The same day, whichever collection you choose

Full day, no finishing time
From morning preparations into the evening. I don't work to a clock. If the dance floor is still full I'm not packing up because we've hit a particular hour.
-

Group photographs in about fifteen minutes
There's a method. You two stand in one spot and stay there. I call in the biggest group first and work down to the parents, then swap in the other side and build back up. Nobody stands around waiting half an hour to be called.
-

Twenty minutes for your portraits
That's genuinely all I need. My quickest was ten, because the sky did something worth using after a grey day. If the light's brilliant later we might slip out for another five minutes, but only if you fancy it.
Also included in every collection: 500+ edited photographs, private online gallery, sneak peeks within 24 hours, drone where conditions allow, planning calls whenever you want them, and travel throughout North Yorkshire and the North East.
You Only Get One Chance To Capture It Properly
Your photographer is one of the few suppliers who will be alongside you for most of the wedding. You need someone whose work you genuinely love, but also someone you trust to fit in with your family, guests and plans.

Photography and film, from one person
A short film is the thing couples most often tell me afterwards they wish they'd booked. The reason most don't is that adding a videographer means a second supplier, a second contract, another person in the aisle and, on the day, two people angling for the same shot.
Mine is a three to five minute film with real audio from the ceremony and the speeches, shot by me while I'm photographing. Switching between stills and video is a button on the camera. No extra crew, nothing more for you to manage, and most couples tell me afterwards they'd forgotten the film was happening at all.
It isn't a two-hour edit of the whole day. It's the parts that give the wedding its character: the walk down the aisle, the line in the best man's speech that landed, the noise of a full dance floor.

OAK
OAK — £1,900 ⭐ Most couples choose this one
Photography, a pre-wedding shoot and an album
The pre-wedding shoot is why this one is popular. An hour somewhere nice a few months before the wedding, and by the day itself I'm someone you've already met rather than a stranger with a camera. If neither of you likes being photographed, this is the collection that fixes it.

DIGITAL — £1,500
The full wedding, documented
The complete day, delivered digitally. No album and no pre-wedding shoot, but exactly the same coverage and the same photographs. If your budget is going elsewhere, this is a perfectly sensible choice and I won't try to talk you out of it.

Add to any collection: a second photographer, a larger album, extra albums for parents, or the wedding film. Albums and film can be added after booking, though it's worth telling me early where I can.
Not sure which suits you? Tell me about your venue and your plans and I'll give you an honest recommendation rather than pushing you towards the expensive one.
What Happens After You Enquire?
-

Tell me about your plans
Your date, your venue and a bit about the two of you. I'll confirm availability, answer whatever you want to ask and tell you which collection I'd actually recommend.
-

Secure your date online
Quote, contract and invoice all in one place through my online booking system. A £100 booking fee holds it.
-

We get to know each other
Calls or Zoom whenever you want them, covering timings, family groups and anything you're unsure about. Oak and Willow include a pre-wedding shoot, which means we've already worked together before the wedding.
-

Enjoy the wedding
Most of it gets photographed while you're getting on with it. I'll step in for the family groups and your portraits, keep both brief, and otherwise leave you alone.
-

Relive everything
Sneak peeks within 24 hours, full gallery within five weeks. Album and film follow if your collection includes them.
A Small Commitment That Lasts Beyond the Wedding
For every wedding I photograph, I plant a tree.
It’s a simple way of reducing the impact of the business and creating something positive from every celebration I’m trusted to document.
Planning a Proper Celebration?
If you’re bringing together your favourite people for a wedding filled with personality, genuine emotion and a brilliant atmosphere, I’d love to hear what you have planned.
Send me your date, venue and a little about the two of you. I’ll confirm my availability and help you choose the collection that suits the wedding without pushing you towards anything you don’t need.

FAQs
-
My full-day collections cover the wedding from morning preparations into the evening party. I don’t work towards a rigid finishing time—if the dance floor is full and things are still happening, I’m not going to disappear because the clock has reached a particular hour.
-
You’ll receive at least 500 carefully selected and professionally edited photographs from a full wedding. Most galleries contain more, depending on the number of guests, timings and what happens throughout the day. I prioritise quality and variety rather than including unnecessary duplicates to reach an inflated number.
-
Absolutely. Family photographs become increasingly important over time. We’ll agree on a concise list before the wedding and organise the essential groups efficiently, so everyone can get back to enjoying themselves.
-
Usually around 20–30 minutes. I’ll find the best available light, give you relaxed direction and create something beautiful without taking you away from your guests for hours. We may also step outside briefly later if the light or weather gives us an opportunity.
-
Not at all. Most people aren’t used to being professionally photographed. I won’t leave you wondering what to do, but I also won’t force you through a list of unnatural poses. Oak and Willow include a pre-wedding shoot, which makes the wedding-day portraits feel even easier.
-
Definitely. Dogs are part of the family and are always welcome at pre-wedding shoots and weddings where the venue allows them.
-
We work with it. I’ll use the venue, available light and breaks in the weather to keep creating strong photographs. If you’re willing to step outside for a few minutes, rain and dramatic skies can produce some of the most atmospheric images of the day.
-
My films are short, creative highlights designed to complement the photographs rather than replace a traditional two-person videography team. I move naturally between photography and filming throughout the wedding, concentrating on the moments, movement and atmosphere that give the day its personality.
-
Your gallery will remain online for at least 12 months, giving you plenty of time to download the photographs and share them with family and friends. I strongly recommend downloading and backing up the full gallery when it is delivered.
-
Everything is completed through my secure online booking system. Once you’ve chosen your collection, you’ll receive a quote, contract and invoice. A £100 booking fee secures your date, and the remaining balance is due one month before the wedding.
-
Yes. Albums, pre-wedding shoots, film coverage and a second photographer can usually be added after booking. Some options depend on availability, so it’s best to let me know as early as possible.
-
Yes. I photograph weddings throughout North Yorkshire, York, Harrogate, the North East and Northumberland, as well as elsewhere in the UK. Travel within North Yorkshire and the North East is included. Any additional travel costs for weddings farther away will be clearly agreed before booking.
