Sophie & Lewis's Enchanting Whitby Wedding at Sneaton Castle

As a Whitby wedding photographer, it's always exciting to capture a couple's special day filled with love and joy. On April 6th, I had the honour of photographing Sophie and Lewis's wonderful wedding at the beautiful Sneaton Castle Hotel in Whitby. The lovely venue and touching moments made it a day to remember.

I first met Sophie during a photography project called the 2020 Vision Project, where I took pictures of her bright personality. I never expected to photograph her again, but this time as a stunning bride, starting a new life with her soulmate, Lewis.

Sophie's Bridal Style

Sophie wore a beautiful gown from Sophia Joes in Guisborough, which showcased her elegance. Her dress matched her personality, and she looked like a princess walking down the aisle. Lewis wore a stylish black tux from Dandy Threads, and together, they looked perfect.

Their cute son, Louis, was the page boy, and he was proud and excited about his role. Lewis's brother Tom, the best man, also played an important part, giving a heartfelt and memorable speech that made everyone emotional and happy.

A Wedding Day Blessing:

The weather was a concern for this outdoor event. It rained in the morning, but thankfully, the weather cleared up just in time for their wedding photos. The sunny skies allowed me to capture the happiness and love shared by the couple and their loved ones.

This wedding was special because of the relaxed and happy atmosphere. Sophie and Lewis were surrounded by their closest friends and family, celebrating their love story. The Sneaton Castle Hotel was the ideal setting, with its historic charm and beautiful views of the Whitby countryside.

Capturing the Whole Day:

As a Whitby wedding photographer, it's an honour to be part of a couple's big day from start to finish. I arrived during the bridal preparations, capturing the excitement as Sophie and her bridesmaids got ready. The day continued with the lovely ceremony at Sneaton Castle, followed by the reception, where everyone gathered to share stories, laughter, and love.

The party continued into the night with dancing, a photo booth, and casino games. The energy was amazing, and everyone was happy. I stayed until after the first dance, capturing Sophie and Lewis's love as they danced, surrounded by friends and family.

Sophie and Lewis's wedding at Sneaton Castle Hotel in Whitby was truly magical. As a Whitby wedding photographer, it was a joy to capture the love, laughter, and happiness that filled their special day. Congratulations to Sophie and Lewis, and may your life together be full of joy and adventure.
