James and Emma | A Vintage Wedding Adventure | North Yorkshire Wedding Photography - Pickering
James and Emma
When I first met James and Emma in the my photography studio I could instantly feel how relaxed they were. I love this because it normally means the couple are just going to take a simple approach to their wedding photography. This gives me the freedom on the day to be more creative and really capture those special moments.
When they told me their plans for their wedding day I was over the moon. The plan was to tie the knot at Pickering train station then jump on one of the steam trains for the wedding breakfast. It was so different and unique I just couldn’t wait to get going.
The day from start to finish was amazing. I am a big kid at heart and grew up loving Thomas the Tank Engine so why wouldn’t I want to spend a day on a steam train. That noise of the engine as it rumbles down the line and the smell of vintage train carriages just takes you to a bygone era.
What makes the whole day special though are the staff, Ian, Tim and all the volunteers have got the day running like clock work. Its fun, relaxing and takes the stress away from the couple.
Take a look at some of my favourites photographs from the day.
